The RoboScientists technical tutorial provides the necessary technical aspects related to the technologies and tools for robotic artefact construction. It details the basics of electronics, mechanics and programming. The technical tutorial is addressed to the teachers (within and beyond the partnership) to help them develop their skills and knowledge necessary to implement from a technical point of view robotic projects in the classroom. The tutorial also contains how-to tips and demonstrates the basics through step by step tasks. It also covers issues related to the use of sensors, the wiring process, the use of breadboards, the construction of electronic circuits and smoothly explains how programming fits into the robotic construction process. A set of different tools and technologies that can facilitate educational purposes are described in an easy to grasp way.
